Description
The OPE302GEO is an outdoor 2-port Gigabit Power over Ethernet extender compliant with IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++)1 standards.
The ORIGO OPE302GEO PoE extender boosts the data and power transmission distance from a PoE switch or PoE injector to connected devices up to 200 m. Two output ports allow two PoE devices to be connected simultaneously at a remote site without intermediate power points or additional switches.
The OPE302GEO is designed for outdoor use. The rugged metal enclosure with IP67 rating provides protection against dust and moisture, the IK10 vandal-resistant design increases resistance to mechanical impact, and the operating temperature range from -40 to +55 °C allows the device to be used in harsh environments. ESD protection up to 6 kV on the ports enhances equipment reliability, and the compact housing with wall-mount capability simplifies installation.
1The 802.3bt (PoE++) standard is supported only on the input port. The output ports operate according to the 802.3af and 802.3at standards.
