Description
The OPE301GE is a single-port Gigabit Power over Ethernet extender compliant with IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++) standards.
The ORIGO OPE301GE PoE extender boosts the transmission distance for both data and power from a PoE switch to the connected Powered Device (PD). When cascaded, it supports ranges of up to 200 m with a single extender, 300 m with two extenders, and 400 m with three extenders1. This solution enables seamless connectivity for IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, IP phones, and other PoE-compliant equipment at remote sites, eliminating the need for intermediate power points or the installation of additional network switches.
Support for all contemporary PoE standards (802.3af/at/bt) and an output power capacity of up to 63W² ensure seamless interoperability with virtually any PoE-compliant device ‒ from standard office IP phones to high power PTZ cameras with built in heaters. Furthermore, the onboard DIP switch with PoE OFF/ON control enables the extender to interface with non PoE devices as well, by simply disabling the power feed on the output port.
The OPE301GE is designed to operate across a wide temperature range of -40 to 65°C, making it suitable for installation in unheated indoor environments. All ports feature 6 kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, ensuring robust immunity to induced voltage surges. Its rugged metal housing provides enhanced resistance to physical damage, while the integrated wall-mounting brackets allow for flexible and convenient placement in virtually any location.
