Description
OS2228 is a configurable switch with 26 x 10/100/1000Base-T ports and 2 x 1000Base-X SFP ports.
The ORIGO OS2228 switch is a modern gigabit solution with optic uplink ports for connecting workgroups on enterprises, in offices, classrooms and medical facilities.
The OS2228 switch supports enhanced functions for configurable switch such as traffic control, ensuring network protection and smooth operation. All the functions can be activated with the DIP switch on the casing.
The Loop Detection / Loop Prevention support allows to monitor loops on ports and prevent switch overload.
VLAN Mode allows to provide traffic segmentation for connected devices and ensure security of transmitted data.
In Network Cloning Mode, traffic can be transmitted between all ports of the switch, while IEEE 802.3x Flow Control is disabled.
The modes are configured in hardware with the DIP switch.
The OS2228 switch also supports 802.1p QoS for priority transmission of time sensitive traffic, broadcast storm control and IGMP Snooping for improved operation with multicast applications.
