Description
OS2216 is a configurable switch with 16 x 10/100/1000Base-T ports.
The ORIGO OS2216 switch is a modern gigabit solution for connecting workgroups on enterprises, in offices, classrooms and medical facilities.
The OS2216 switch supports enhanced functions for configurable switch such as traffic control and ensuring network secure operation. All the functions can be activated with the DIP switch on the casing.
VLAN Mode allows to provide traffic segmentation for connected devices and ensure security of transmitted data.
In Network Cloning Mode, traffic can be transmitted between all ports of the switch, while IEEE 802.3x Flow Control is disabled.
The modes are configured in hardware with the DIP switch.
All ports support auto MDI/MDIX adjustment and detect the type of connected cable automatically.
Auto negotiation function allows the switch to select maximum possible connection speed for connected device and activate duplex mode.
The switch requires no configuration and is ready for operation immediately after connecting power. The 19” rack mounting kit is included.
