Description
The ORIGO OS3128P/250W is a high-performance L2 managed switch with 24 x 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ ports, 2 x 100/1000Base-X SFP ports and 2 x Combo 100/1000Base-T/SFP ports.
The ORIGO OS3128P/250W is recommended for building of the networks of small, medium, and large enterprises, retail business, budgetary organizations and education institutions that require managed gigabit solution to connect the workplaces and provide remote power supply for IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices.
The OS3128P/250W supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, providing up to 30W per port with a total PoE power budget of 250W. Built-in ESD protection meets industry surge standards, guarding the switch and connected devices from damage and network instability caused by ESD and lightning-induced surges.
The switch is suitable for use in video surveillance systems (CCTV). The Extend PoE mode allows to overcome the standard Ethernet limit of 100 m and connect IP cameras at a distance of up to 250 m at speeds up to 10 Mbit/s, simplifying installation and reducing costs when building CCTV networks. Support for PD Alive and PoE Scheduling ensures automatic restart of unresponsive devices and optimization of power consumption.
The OS3128P/250W supports a static routing, advanced VLAN functionality, Port Security, 802.1X authentication and ACL. IGMP/MLD Snooping function allows to operate with multicasting applications effectively, and QoS is used to provide a priority transmission of multimedia traffic.
To increase network performance and resiliency, the OS3128P/250W supports Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), the redundant connections by means of STP/RSTP/MSTP, Loopback Detection and ERPS, providing fast network recovery if one of the ring links fails.
